Chekhover, V.
Chess studies and endings
The readers are going to be introduced to a collection of selected chess studies and endings, which were compiled and played by the author during more than 20 years. Most of these positions, as well as studies, were published in various chess magazines.
Since the author is a practitioner of the chess game, it is natural that many studies are of practical importance (some of them are analytical). At the endings, there are some sketchy moments. It should be borne in mind that a number of endings are deferred games and variants of these endings were found in home analysis.
The author hopes that solving and playing out the proposed studies and endings will benefit chess amateurs and improve their skills.
