The Golden Book fills a serious gap that existed in the system of publishing FIDE Albums - collections of the best chess problems and sketches published by leading composers of the world for a certain time. The first of them appeared in 1961. Subsequent editions were published, as well as retrospective ones, the last of which was published in 1975. This collection covers a very important period in the development of composition, starting from 1850, which in the history of chess became the beginning of important thematic discoveries and the formation of the main composition schools. It also introduces works of all the famous problemists and endgame study composers of the world who worked in the mentioned period. The book is created for all kinds of chess composition lovers and a wide range of chess players.
