This publication is dedicated to the first friendly meeting of Slovak and Ukrainian amateurs of chess composition, which took place at building No. 3899 near Bratislava from September 9 to 16, 1998, in which took part N. Veliky, M. Marandyuk, V. Dyachuk, L. Mishina from Ukraine, and Y. Brabets, I. Garay, P. Gvozdik, L. Legen, Y. Larints and L. Salai from Slovakia.
